HELP! I'M BEING ROBBED!

I'm beginning to think that a lot of manufacturers are cutting corners any which way they can in order to ensure that they will turn the highest possible profit.  What I'm talking about is the fact that I've noticed that my name brand powdered bleach and laundry detergent do not perform as well as they once did. I find myself using a lot more of these products in an effort to get them to perform the way they use to. Also, I run out of peanut butter sooner than I used to, the bag of chips I buy is only half full, and so many of the boots at even the finer stores are no longer real leather, (but still they cost almost as much). As we all know, the economy took a serious hit, and it'll be a while before things get back to even near normal. Still, one would think that manufacturers would have the integrity to not tamper with their products just so they can earn a few more bucks. I'm wondering; has anyone else noticed changes in product performance and/or volume such as the ones I mention above? If so, lets talk about it. I don't know about you, but I feel misused, misled, deceived, swindled, cheated, victimized, hoodwinked, defrauded, and taken for ride!

Hello Everyone,

It looks as though we're really in for it coast to coast! I'm talking about the weather, of course.  We've got heavy rains and mudslides, (mudslides!), in California, flooding in Nevada, and tons and tons of snow from the Midwest to the East. I live in Illinois and I think that most of us here in the middle of the country will be having a white Christmas; however, a lot of us will be so busy this week trying to dig ourselves out that we won't be able to truly enjoy the beauty of it all.

Since I started school again last week, I’ve found that trying to strike a balance between housework and schoolwork is tougher than I thought it would be; schoolwork seems to be winning!   I’m sure that this is because I have been devoting practically all of my time to my schoolwork rather than setting aside a certain number of hours to do it.  A reworking of my daily schedule is definitely in order.

Greetings Everyone!

I must admit that I've gotten off to a slower start with my blog than I would have liked, but here's hoping that I'll have smoother sailing from here on out.

I'm so glad that Dr. M. says that it's okay for us to work a little ahead because that's exactly what I plan to do.  I figure that if I manage this course in this way, I'll have more time to perhaps tweak some of my work if need be.  Here's hoping that we'll all be successful with our blogs as well as with the rest of our assignments!
